Child Protection Policy
Child Protection Policy
Objective: To ensure the safety and well-being of children and students in all of PRAN’s research, audits, and advocacy activities.
Zero Tolerance: PRAN maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of child abuse, exploitation, or harassment.
Ethical Research: When conducting studies near educational institutions (e.g., tobacco marketing audits), staff must ensure that no child's identity is compromised.
Informed Consent: Any interaction with minors for "Community Empowerment" or "Direct Services" requires the explicit consent of parents or legal guardians.
Reporting: Staff are mandated to report any observed child safety violations in the community to the appropriate legal authorities as part of our "Justice & Human Rights" pillar.
