Since its inception, the Public Right Action Network (PRAN) has operated on a fundamental belief: that the strength of a democracy is measured by the awareness of its citizens.

However, awareness is only the foundation. To build the structure of justice, we need action. Today, we are inviting you to join the PRAN Membership—a collective of individuals dedicated to the core mission of the PRAN Policy Research Action Network Foundation.

Our Vision: Bridging the Gap Between Policy and People

Our vision is simple yet profound: To create a society where human dignity, equality, and justice are universally realized. PRAN is a non-political, not-for-profit initiative dedicated to advancing accountability across India. We bridge the gap between abstract rights and their ground-level realization by bringing together advocates, practitioners, and community leaders to address systemic gaps in governance, consumer protection, and public safety.

Our Strategic Approach: The 4As

We don't just "protest"; we follow a professional, evidence-based model to drive change:

  1. Appreciate: Recognizing potential and celebrating positive change.

  2. Assist: Providing legal aid, mediation, and early dispute resolution.

  3. Analyze: Collecting evidence and conducting research to identify systemic gaps.

  4. Advocate: Influencing change through legislative, judicial, and community engagement.

How You Can Contribute as a Member


Joining the PRAN Task Force is a commitment to being a "Conscious Citizen." As a member, you help us move the needle in our core areas—from Consumer Protection and Justice & Human Rights to Sustainability and Labour Rights.

  • Be a Watchdog: Act as our eyes and ears on the ground. Report local issues so we can address them collectively through research and advocacy.

  • Contribute Expertise: Whether you are a professional, a student, or a concerned resident, your insights help us build a stronger "Knowledge Base."

  • Spread Legal Literacy: Help us take our mission of "Constitutional Literacy" to your own communities.

  • Participate in Research: Help us gather the field data required to challenge systemic inefficiencies and influence policy.
