PRAN Goes Global: We Are Now Members of Four International Civil Society Networks
A young Indian NGO, less than a year old, has earned a place in some of the world's most respected civil society alliances — because justice does not stop at borders.
When we registered PRAN (Policy Research Action Network) Foundation as a Section 8 non-profit in February 2026, our first commitment was to the people of India — to the consumer whose complaint was dismissed, the worker whose rights were ignored, the citizen who could not navigate a legal system not built for them.
But we always knew that the problems we fight are not uniquely Indian problems. Civic space is shrinking worldwide. Consumer exploitation crosses borders. Road deaths are a global epidemic. And the solutions — the frameworks, the solidarity, the collective voice — have to be global too.
That is why I am proud to announce that PRAN Foundation has now been formally accepted as a member of four major international civil society networks. This is not a ceremonial milestone. It is the beginning of a new chapter in how we work.

I want to be direct about something.
These global memberships do not change who we are or where our priorities lie. PRAN was built for the citizen standing in a consumer forum without a lawyer. For the family that lost someone on a broken road. For the homebuyer who has been waiting years for a builder to deliver what was promised.
Every global connection we build is in service of that citizen. If a CIVICUS network helps us secure a grant that funds 100 more legal aid consultations — that is the point. If a Grassroots Justice Network peer teaches us a better way to document consumer rights violations — that is the point.
Global reach. Grassroots heart. That is the PRAN model.
