Consumer Protection Services by PRAN

Consumer Protection Services by PRAN

Helping every consumer stand tall, informed, and protected.

The Public Right Action Network (PRAN) works to make consumer rights easy to understand and even easier to use. India’s markets are expanding fast, but so are unfair practices, misleading ads, unsafe products, and service failures. Many consumers still struggle to navigate complaint systems or understand their legal remedies.

This page brings together all the consumer protection support PRAN offers for individuals, communities, NGOs, and institutions.

PRAN is led by Advocate Amarjeet Singh Panghal (MA LLB, LLM), a public-interest lawyer with over two decades of experience in consumer protection, public health advocacy, and access-to-justice initiatives. Beginning his journey at Patiala House Courts in 1999, he went on to work across Delhi, Hisar, and Jaipur, supporting thousands of consumers and community members through legal research, litigation, training, and policy work. He has collaborated with national and international organisations on campaigns related to consumer rights, tobacco control, road safety, gender equality, and governance. As the founder of PRAN, he brings deep legal insight, field experience, and a commitment to making the law simple, actionable, and accessible for everyone.
